In St. Pölten, in the heart of Lower Austria, is the centre of the ice cream world – the Sweet Depot Ice Cream AcademyHere we invite you to our Workshops who impart practical knowledge and valuable tips on the preparation of ice cream, soft ice cream, waffles and other delicious specialties. Our workshops are aimed at both beginners and experienced professionals who want to refresh or expand their knowledge.

Our workshops focus on practical learning. Under the guidance of experienced ice cream professionals, you will learn everything you need to know about machines, raw materials and production techniques. Our workshops are compact, practice-oriented and ideal for catering businesses, entrepreneurs or allwho would like to take the step into self-employment in the sweet gastronomy industry.

I went to the soft ice cream & frozen yogurt basic course with my mom. Daniel, our lecturer, shone with outstanding specialist knowledge and many helpful tips and tricks. The course was very informative. Exactly what I had hoped for. I can only recommend the course to everyone. Daniel answered all questions and really looked after the whole group very well. The soft ice cream and waffle course was amazing! Big compliments to Daniel the course leader, but also to the whole company in general. I went there with few expectations and was so surprised by what was offered for such a low price that I can really recommend anyone who is interested in a course to take part. The course was really very interesting and educational. Our course leader Daniel explained and showed us a lot of information and tips on the subject of ice cream and confectionery in a friendly and personable manner. On the first day we were shown everything about the theory of making ice cream. In the following days Daniel familiarized us with the various machines, tools and products. From these he created many different types of ice cream with us. Our course leader responded very precisely to our questions and requests. With his extensive specialist knowledge and experience in the subject of ice cream and confectionery, this week was very interesting, exciting and of course we had a lot of fun. Many thanks to the whole Sweet Depot team, I can only recommend this course to everyone.

The basic course on making ice cream was very educational, interesting and very informal. The course leader, Daniel, designed the course professionally with his extensive specialist knowledge and his friendly manner. He took every special request of the course participants into account and was able to create great ice cream creations. Each ice cream machine was explained well and understandably.
